On the eve of the New Year, ecologists of the territorial administrations told the pre-school children how to help wintering birds. So, inspectors of the Central Department held an eco-lesson in kindergarten No. 291 of Kazan. They shared the secrets of winter feeding of birds. "In winter, it is important for birds to adapt to the cold and find food. You can feed your relatives with sunflower seeds, dried rowan and hawthorn berries," environmentalists say.

Inspectors of the Volga-Kama TA showed the preschool children from the kindergarten "Chamomile" of the Alkeevsky district what feeders should be. They told the children what materials to choose for making a bird canteen.

Coloring books were presented to all the children as a souvenir.
