More than 4 million rubles will be paid by Kharats LLC for damage caused to the environment
According to information received about illegal sand mining on a land plot in the village of Ilyinka, Nizhnekamsk, employees of the State Inspectorate of the Ministry of Ecology went to the site. During the survey of the territory, unlicensed sand mining was revealed. Environmentalists have calculated the damage caused to the environment. It amounted to 4 million 102 thousand rubles. In relation to the violator (LLC "Kharats") a claim was sent to the Nizhnekamsk City Court of the Republic of Tatarstan for damages. The environmentalists' claims were satisfied, the court ordered to compensate for the damage caused to the environment. However, Kharats LLC filed an appeal to the Supreme Court of the Republic. The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Nizhnekamsk City Court.
As of today, the case materials have been transferred to the bailiff service to initiate enforcement proceedings against Kharats LLC and for compulsory recovery of damages.
