During the survey of the Almetyevsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology revealed a huge unauthorized dump in the town on Riza Fakhretdin Street.
As it turned out, construction waste was placed on nine land plots – this is scrap asphalt concrete coatings, solid municipal waste, which was exported after the improvement of roads and buildings of the city and was stored presumably for further dumping of land plots.
The total area of the cluttered territory was 18.385 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 36.445 cubic meters.
To establish the owner of the land plots, environmentalists sent a request to the Office of the Federal Register of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the results of the request, it was established that six land plots belong to individuals, two plots belong to legal entities – LLC "Center-Spec-Stroy" and JSC "Vyksa Metallurgical Plant" and one plot is in municipal ownership.
A warning was sent to the Executive Committee of the Almetyevsk district about the inadmissibility of violating environmental legislation and eliminating the landfill within 60 days. Claims will be sent to the other owners and the damage caused to the environment will be presented.
