Alexander Shadrikov: "I am sure that together we will make the world cleaner and the environment better!" The winners of the gathering of young naturalists were awarded in Tatarstan today
Today, the closing ceremony of the sixth Republican Gathering of young naturalists of Tatarstan took place in the health and educational complex "Baitik". The leaders of the rally were congratulated and awarded by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov.
"Not just young people gathered here, but those people who know how to take care of the environment and the whole environment. Ecology has united representatives of different generations in this hall today - young people and teachers, activists of various organizations. The Young People's Movement has a rich 105-year history and you are its participants," Alexander Shadrikov said in his welcoming speech.
Let us recall that in Tatarstan, the revival of the movement of young people began in 2018, it was then that the first gathering of young people of the Republic took place. This year is the sixth gathering. It was held in the republic from November 5 to 7 and gathered more than 250 children from 20 districts. And in total, there are already more than 2 thousand young naturalists in Tatarstan.
The most active of them, who gathered at the rally, were also greeted by Dmitry Shiller, Chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan.
"Today we have started a big business, we have started a very interesting path that will last through your whole life. The small studies that you have done will become the foundation stones of your big studies tomorrow. I do not know which path you will choose next, but I know for sure that this foundation laid here will be very strong and powerful. It will become the most reliable foundation on which you can build your life," Schiller said.
As part of the three-day educational and entertainment program, the children defended research projects, attended master classes and seminars, fought in quests and games. In total, the jury reviewed more than 80 projects.
"All our academicians are yesterday's young naturalists. I am proud that our republic makes a huge contribution to the youth, the best investments are in the younger generation," said the Minister of Ecology, presenting awards to the winners. As part of the rally, Alexander Shadrikov also congratulated the winners of the children's environmental forum, which was held in Chelyabinsk. The guys prepared a project to clean the shores of reservoirs and became winners in the nomination "Popular water". The head of the environmental protection department stressed that young people are always actively involved in clean-up and eco-campaigns, and thanks to the help of volunteers and our residents, Tatarstan has been a leader among other subjects of Russia in the action "Water of Russia" of the national project "Ecology" for two years in a row.
According to the results of the competition "The best research work", the first place was taken by a student of the Lubyanka secondary school of the Kukmor district, Yana Baranova. The best detachment of young naturalists was recognized as the "Ecol" detachment from the Mamadysh district. Elena Knyazkina, a teacher of the Galaktika Educational Center at Lyceum No. 35 of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, took the first place in the competition "Protected Trails", which was held for teachers. Also, the winners of the contest "Ecology of the native land" were Kamil Ganibayeva and Malika Valeeva, students of Lyceum No. 35 of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, "The best research work" was recognized by the pupil of the "Multilingual complex "Adymnar - the way to knowledge and consent" of the city of Kazan Arthur Degtyarev, the first place in the contest "Diary of a young naturalist" took Islam Bariev from Muslyumovsky district.
Let us recall that the Yunnati (young naturalists) movement is now being revived throughout Russia thanks to the support of the President of the country. In 2022, Vladimir Putin spoke with participants of the All-Russian Youth Ecological Forum "Ecosystem. The Reserved Region" supported the idea of reviving the movement of young naturalists in Russia.
