AAPCS of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan has performed more than 973 thousand measurements in Kazan since the beginning of the year
From October 27 to November 3, 20 nitrogen dioxide exceedances with a maximum multiplicity of 1.63 MPC in the south and south-west wind direction and 3 nitrogen oxide exceedances with a maximum multiplicity of 1.78 MPC in the south wind direction were recorded at AAPCS-2, located at 75 Pavlyukhina Street. The reason for the excess is related to emissions from vehicles during peak hours.
At the other stations of the Ministry, the excess of the MPC of pollutants was not recorded.
Visits were also organized for sampling using a hand-held sampling pump for analysis on a wider list of substances. According to the results of the analyses that were carried out on October 27 and 31, no excess was recorded. The results of the analyses from the sampling on November 2 are still in the works.
