The Arbitration Court of the Republic ruled in favor of environmentalists
The violator in the Vysokogorsky district was obliged to compensate the damage caused to the Kamenka River in the amount of 600,783 rubles. This decision was made by the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2022, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan identified the content of pollutants in wastewater discharged into the Kamenka River. The legal entity LLC "Clean Waters" was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation. Also, environmentalists calculated and presented the damage caused to the Kamenka River in the amount of 600,783 rubles.
However, the guilty person voluntarily refused to compensate for the damage. The Central Territorial Administration filed a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The environmentalists' claims were satisfied, the court ordered the violator to compensate for the damage caused to the environment. As of today, the Vysokogorsky District Bailiff's office has forcibly recovered the amount from Clean Waters LLC.
