Almetyevsk ecologists took air samples in the settlement closest to the landfill
Today there was a fire at the landfill in the Almetyevsk district, where urban household waste is exported. Inspectors and specialists of the laboratory of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan promptly went to the site to assess the air condition in the locality closest to the landfill in order to exclude the possibility of a negative impact on people's lives. Using a mobile ecological laboratory, ecologists conducted atmospheric air sampling. According to the results of the analysis, no exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of harmful substances were detected. Now the fire-fighting staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan for the Almetyevsk district is also working at the site of the fire. All forces have been involved to localize the fire at the landfill.
