Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in comprehensive exercises to confirm readiness for actions to localize an emergency oil spill
Comprehensive exercises to confirm the readiness of JSC Tatnefteotdacha for actions to localize and eliminate an emergency oil spill were held in the Stepnoozersky rural settlement of the Nurlatsky district. The event was held under the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of Rosprirodnadzor, Rostechnadzor, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Executive Committee of the Nurlat district.
Liquidation of the oil spill was carried out by the forces and means of the professional emergency rescue formation of LLC "RegionSpas". The exercises were successful, the commission rated them as "satisfactory".
Also, exercises to confirm the readiness of the Kazan TPP-1 for actions to eliminate the maximum estimated volume of oil spill were held on the territory of the branch of JSC Tatenergo. The commission included inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
