Another oil spill was revealed by environmentalists of the South-Eastern TA

During the monitoring of the Almetyevsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed a spill of process fluid along the Almetyevsk-Ursala highway. The spill occurred as a result of depressurization of the discharge line from the cluster pumping station to the well of the Almetyevneft oil and gas production department. The area of contamination was about 200 sq.m.

Soil samples were taken by laboratory specialists. Now the samples are in the works. All information was transferred to the Volga-Kama interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor.
