In Tatarstan, work within the framework of the national project "Ecology" is being implemented on time and in accordance with the schedule

Director of the Department of State Policy and Regulation in the Field of water Resources of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia Roman Minukhin paid a working visit to Tatarstan. Together with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov, he got acquainted with the progress of work being implemented within the framework of the national project "Ecology". Let us recall that in Tatarstan, the recultivation of the silt fields of biological treatment facilities in Kazan, the reconstruction of biological sewage treatment facilities in Kazan, the dismantling of the inactive pipeline of the Lake oil field in the waters of the Nizhnekamsk reservoir is underway, as well as within the framework of the state program of the Russian Federation "Reproduction and use of natural resources", work is underway to shore up the Kuibyshev reservoir near the village of Kamskoye-Estuary.

All work is carried out in accordance with the schedule.

To date, work is underway at the silt field reclamation facility to move silt sediment, fill 224 geotubes, arrange a geogrid, a layer of crushed stone, lay sand, the total readiness of the facility is 54%, the dismantling of inactive pipelines of the Lake Oil field is underway to remove dismantled pipes for disposal, the total readiness of the facility is 53 %, 13 kilometers of pipes have already been extracted, the reconstruction of biological sewage treatment plants in Kazan has been completed by 64%, and the high readiness of work on shore protection of the Kuibyshev reservoir has also been noted near the village of Kamskoye-Ustye – 89%, the sheet pile is clogged at the facility, work is underway on the installation of a cap beam, a reverse filter, backfill, storm sewer.

Also during the business trip, Roman Minukhin and Alexander Shadrikov got acquainted with promising facilities planned within the framework of the federal project "Conservation of unique Water bodies" of the national project "Ecology", namely, clearing the Melekeska riverbed in Naberezhnye Chelny. It is planned to clear 4.6 km within the boundaries of Naberezhnye Chelny (the central part of Naberezhnye Chelny).

The Melekeska river clearing area is divided into two zones, according to the delimitation of powers of federal and regional significance: the first section is in the area of the Nizhnekamsk reservoir backup, the second section is after the Nizhnekamsk reservoir backup.

The first section with a length of 1.5 km was implemented in 2022 under the title of the Sredvolgavodkhoz branch of the Centerregionvodkhoz Federal State Budgetary Institution at the expense of the federal budget. The second section with a length of 3.1 km is planned to be implemented within the framework of the federal project "Preservation of unique water bodies" from 2025.
