In February last year, the Zakamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology received repeated complaints from residents of Nizhnekamsk. Citizens complained about the large number of trucks with sand driving along the public road and asked to find out whether excavation work was being carried out legally.
As part of an on-site inspection, residents' doubts were confirmed, environmentalists established the fact of unauthorized use of the subsoil. The violator was charged with damage, which was not reimbursed within the established time frame.
For further action, the case was referred to the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. A decision was made to satisfy the claim of the Zakamsky department for a total amount of 815 thousand rubles.
