Environmentalists promptly left on the complaint of residents about the pollution of the Bigashka River in Almetyevsk
On social networks, concerned Tatarstan residents reported the discharge of an unknown foaming white substance into the Bigashka River in the Almetyevsk Health Park. Inspectors and specialists of the laboratory of the South-Eastern TA of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan promptly left for the place. During the survey of the territory, the discharge of sewage from the outlet of the storm sewer was recorded. Water samples were taken by ecologists. Employees of Almetyevsk-Vodokanal JSC and the Department of Ecology and Landscaping of the Almetyevsk district also went to the site to inspect storm sewer networks. Special equipment was working on site, which pumped out contaminated water from wells. According to the results of monitoring of the territory, an unauthorized tie-in was detected. Presumably, the drain was carried out from a car wash located across the street on Shevchenko Street.
Now the samples are in the works. Based on the results of the analysis, response measures will be taken.
