Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in exercises to eliminate oil spills and petroleum products
In the Bavli district, under the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, comprehensive exercises were held to confirm the readiness of Transneft Volga to localize and eliminate oil and petroleum product spills. The commission included inspectors of the Priiksky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of Rosprirodnadzor, Rostechnadzor and heads of the Executive Committee of the Bavli district.
During the exercises, joint actions were practiced in the event of an oil spill on the soil. In order to prevent the spread of the spill, the employees of Transneft Volga did the berming of the soil, firefighters worked with a possible fire. Employees of Transneft Volga Region JSC also practiced working with gas analyzers and took soil samples. During the exercises, specialists learned how to respond promptly to emergencies. Employees of JSC "Transneft Volga Region" received satisfactory ratings of the commission.
