The qualifying stage of the All-Russian championship movement in professional skills "Professionals" took place in Moscow today. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented at the competition on the competence "Environmental protection" by the 3rd year student of the Kazan Petrochemical College named after V. P. Lushnikov, Alvir Kamalov.
He competed in skills with 16 guys from other regions of Russia. Today, the future ecologist was supported by Deputy Minister of Ecology Olga Manidicheva, who is on a working visit to Moscow.
"Environmental protection is the concern of every citizen of our country. I am glad that young people understand this, fully support and participate in the conservation of natural resources. All participants showed a serious attitude. Alvir is also well prepared, our specialists have tried to give him the maximum amount of necessary knowledge and skills," said Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Minister of Ecology.
Let us recall that the qualifying stage will last until August 4. It takes place in 45 competencies on the basis of 19 colleges in Moscow: 28 competencies of the main category - for college students and 17 categories of "Juniors" for schoolchildren from 14 years old. In the category "Juniors" Tatarstan is represented by Ilya Kirdin, a student of the Russian-Tatar school No. 87 in Kazan. In total, more than 600 contestants will take part in the competitions in Moscow. The competence "Environmental protection" as part of the Championship appeared in 2020. The regional stage of this competence takes place on the basis of the Kazan Petrochemical College named after Lushnikov. The Ministry of Ecology actively cooperates with the Kazan Petrochemical College named after V. P. Lushnikov. The College is entrusted to be a basic educational institution in the competence of "Environmental protection".
