In the House of Culture of the village of Shelanga, Verkhneuslonsky district, inspectors of the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan held an environmental lesson for children of the school camp "Druzhba". Environmentalists told the guys why it is so important to sort garbage, because in this way we reduce its quantity. 15 schoolchildren learned that railway sleepers can be made from recycled plastic, waste paper can be recycled and egg trays and toilet paper can be obtained. At the end of the lesson, the students were shown cartoons to consolidate the information received.
"We tell the guys that garbage harms the environment: it pollutes water, soil, is dangerous for birds and animals, and also destroys our ecosystem. Sorting garbage educates schoolchildren to love nature. Also, some of the garbage can be used for raw materials for various production, which means that students and I benefit. We will definitely continue our work, and we will hold environmental events even more often," the teacher of the Shelangov school noted at the end of the lesson.
As a souvenir, the students received special coloring pages on an environmental theme from the inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
