From May 19 to May 26, three automatic air pollution control stations out of five in Kazan recorded exceedances of the maximum permissible concentration of hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide in the atmospheric air.
The excess of the permissible concentration of hydrogen sulfide was recorded at AAPCS-1, located in the village. Osinovo (4.5 MPC) and AAPCS-5, located in the microdistrict "Salavat Kupere" on I. Shakirov st., 3 (4.0 MPC). During the period of fixing the excess, the onset of unfavorable meteorological conditions of the 1st degree was predicted.
At AAPCS-3 at 76 Maksimova St., carbon monoxide exceedances (1.9 MPC) were recorded with a north-easterly wind direction. Excess of carbon monoxide according to the analysis of the consolidated database of emissions of pollutants in Kazan and the survey of the adjacent territory are associated with the intensity of traffic flow.
According to the facts of excess hydrogen sulfide in the air in the northern zone of Kazan, the Ministry's inspectors conducted additional visits to the mobile laboratory. In addition, visits to the residential district of the residential complex "Salavat Kupere" and to the territory of the Aviastroitelny district continue in the evening of the weekend. The excess of pollutants in the atmospheric air following the results of the visits were not recorded.
Materials on the facts of hydrogen sulfide excess with the results of the analysis on the consolidated database were sent to the Volga-Kama interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor.
AAPCS, located on Pavlyukhin Street and Chetaev Street, did not record excess pollutants over the past week.
