How does garbage affect the environment? The inspectors of the Zakamsky TA told the students about this

17 May 2023, Wednesday

An eco–talk on the topic "Garbage – the enemy of nature" was conducted by inspectors of the Zakamsky TA of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Kamskopolyansky school No. 1 of the Nizhnekamsk district. Fourth graders learned what household and industrial garbage can be. The inspectors also told the children about how long it takes our planet to get rid of certain waste.  "Concrete, bricks, batteries, rubber tires and plastic bottles – it will take from 100 to 200 years for these wastes to decompose. That is why recycling and sorting of garbage is so important," the environmentalists noted. In order to teach the children how to sort garbage correctly, the inspectors held a thematic game. "Children are often the initiators of various campaigns for separate garbage collection. They not only distribute it into containers, but also create original crafts from waste," said the inspectors of the Zakamsky TA of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

We completed the eco-meeting by watching an educational cartoon.
