Arsk school No. 1 named after V. F. Yezhkov held a scientific and practical conference "Natural Science education in the modern world" for students of grades 6-8. Ecologists of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan were invited as members of the jury.
The conference participants presented seven research projects on such topics as "Lichens", "The Earth's magnetic field and its effect on people", "Epoxy resin panels", "Spiders", "The influence of music on human memory", "Badminton: benefits and recreation in one game". The students also talked about their personal achievements in physics, biology, art and sports, as well as how they involve their friends and classmates in scientific and creative projects.
At the end of the conference, all participants were awarded certificates and memorable gifts. Environmentalists of the Ministry noted that such events stimulate the cognitive, scientific and creative abilities of schoolchildren and contribute to the development of public speaking skills.
