Within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and employees of the GBU "Road Safety" conducted a joint raid to control the sanitary and ecological condition of road service facilities, right-of-way lanes and roadside lanes of public roads in the territory of the Nurlatsky district.
"As part of the raid, 3 unauthorized landfills were identified in the villages of Bogdashkino and Andreevka. Warnings were sent to the owners of land plots about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and the need to eliminate the violation," said Venera Mingaleeva, a specialist of the 1st category of the South-Eastern TA.
Let us recall that on April 1, a sanitary and ecological two-month period started in the republic. The main goal is the sanitary cleaning of the territories of settlements, the identification and elimination of landfills accumulated during the winter period and bringing the territories into proper ecological and sanitary-epidemiological condition after the snow cover. During the three weeks of the sanitary and ecological two-month period in Tatarstan, the supervisory authorities of ministries and departments revealed 2,089 violations, 1,235 of them were eliminated, 545 administrative materials were compiled, fines totaling 314.5 thousand rubles were imposed. 1,141 places of unauthorized waste disposal have been identified, 750 have been liquidated.
Information about violations detected by citizens of the republic is received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception through all communication channels. The public reception received 2,027 appeals.
Municipalities have removed 129 thousand cubic meters of solid household waste since the beginning of the two-month period, 227,490 people and 4,801 units of special equipment have been involved in cleaning the territories, more than 188 thousand trees and shrubs have been planted, roads and bus shelters are being cleaned.
