Already tomorrow Kazan residents will be able to hand over the scrap metal for recycling
Tomorrow, April 18, from 16:00 to 16:30, anyone will be able to hand over the equipment that has served its time for disposal. The reception of electronics will take place at: Patrice Lumumba str., 40/1 Sovetsky district of Kazan. A specialized car will be parked in front of the building of the Military Commissariat of the Republic of Tatarstan. The collection point can be found by pointing the camera at the QR code.
What kind of waste will be taken:
- computer and office equipment;
- household appliances (including washing machines and refrigerators);
- power tools;
- scientific and medical equipment;
- phones and personal gadgets;
- electronic and electric toys;
- cartridges (must not exceed 10% of the volume of the delivered equipment).
They will not accept:
- batteries;
- equipment marked with a radiation sign; lamps.

Let us remind you that an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund for Rational Nature Management on cooperation in the implementation of environmental programs, in particular on the implementation of the program "School of Recycling: Electronics". The main goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for residents to transfer their expired equipment for recycling in an environmentally friendly and convenient way. Disposal is carried out at the own facilities of the Fund for Rational Use of Natural Resources for the processing of waste of electronic and electrical equipment, as well as at partner enterprises. In total, since the beginning of the campaign, Tatarstan residents have handed over more than 50 tons of electronic and electrical equipment for disposal.
