Environmentalists check information about the mass death of fish in the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan
According to the information received about the fish catching on the lakes Maloe and Bolshoe Chuikovo of the Novo-Savinovsky district, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration and specialists of the laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan promptly went to the place. At the time of departure to the lake Small Chuikovo fish kill was not found, but on the lake Bolshoe Chuikovo the fact of fish kill was confirmed. Ecologists took samples of natural water at two points and measured the oxygen level in the water. Now the samples are in the works. The oxygen level at Lake Maloe Chuikovo was 2.39 mg/l, which is below the norm (the norm is from 4 mg/l). Based on the results of the analysis, response measures will be taken. Also, all information was sent to the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Biological Resources.
