"Ecological traditions of the peoples of Tatarstan". A festival of national cultures was held in Menzelinsk
At school No. 2 of Menzelinsk the republican festival of the peoples of Tatarstan was held. The festival was dedicated to the theme of ecological traditions. Let us remind you that this year has been declared the Year of National Cultures and Traditions in the Republic.
5 teams took part in the competition – these are schoolchildren from Mendeleevsky, Aktanyshsky, Sarmanovsky districts and Menzelinsk. The jury consisted of specialists of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Each team presented bright performances, where the guys told about the Tatar, Mari, Chuvash and other traditions of the peoples of the Volga region related to nature and ecology. Air, water and earth are what our ancestors valued and what is important to preserve and pass on to the future generation.
According to the results of the festival , the 1st place was taken by the team of school No. 3 of Menzelinsk, 2nd place – the team of the Karashai-Saklovsky school of the Sarmanovsky district, and 3rd place for the team of school No. 1 of Menzelinsk.
"Such events are aimed not only at strengthening friendly relations between the peoples living in our Republic, but also at raising the level of ecological culture and environmental education of children and youth," said Leyla Galimova, a specialist of the Prikamsky TA.
