Water Day will be celebrated in Kazan on March 21-22 with an ecological and educational campaign "With water on first-name terms"
On March 21 and 22 in 5 cities of the Russian Federation (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Kazan) at 10 sites of the most visited shopping and entertainment complexes and business centers, an ecological and educational campaign "With water on first-name terms" will be held. The event is timed to the celebration of the World Water Resources Day, the main goal is to involve residents in solving issues of protection and rational use of water resources. The event is organized by the Federal Agency of Water Resources (Rosvodresursy).
In Kazan, an environmental awareness campaign will be held with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Koltso shopping mall. As part of the eco-campaign, thematic zones for photographing, an information zone for passing an educational online test in the mobile application "Water Footprint Calculator" on the VKontakte social network platform will be placed in the shopping and entertainment complex. Also, specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan will hold an open eco-lesson and tell all participants why it is important to protect water resources, demonstrate experiments on determining water quality indicators and give memorable gifts for all participants of the event.
The event contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Ecology", aimed at the development of environmental education, respect for the human environment.
