Environmentalists caught red-handed violators who were illegally mining OPI in Nizhnekamsk district
Inspectors of the Zakamsky territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, during monitoring of the Nizhnekamsk district in a field near the village of Ilyinka, recorded the fact of unlicensed sand mining. Special equipment - loaders and excavators worked on the land plot.
Previously, the volume of seized common minerals is estimated at 2,383 cubic meters. The inspectors calculated the damage caused to the environment.
According to the identification number indicated on the loaders, specialists sent a request to the State Technical Supervision of the Republic of Tatarstan in Nizhnekamsk to determine the owners of special equipment. A claim will be issued against the perpetrators and the damage caused to the soil will be presented. Also, to assess the volume of mineral reserves lost as a result of unauthorized use of the subsoil, the Ministry will conduct a mining survey.
