The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan today sums up the results for the year at the board of the Department

In 2022, the Republic of Tatarstan took 1st place in terms of environmental indicators in the ESG-rating (a set of principles of environmental, social and corporate governance) among the subjects of Russia.

Over the past five years, 51.8 billion rubles have been allocated for environmental protection measures in the republic.  Possible damage of 58 billion rubles was prevented. The living conditions for 2 million 300 thousand people have been improved.

In 2022, more than 14.7 billion rubles were allocated for environmental protection, 6.8 billion of them are funds from enterprises. Our Republic has been a leader in the Volga Federal District in terms of investments in environmental protection for many years.
