Environmentalists promptly went to the scene of the accident with a gasoline spill
The Zakamsky territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology received a message through the "Unified Dispatching Service on Duty" in Nizhnekamsk about a spill of petroleum products as a result of an accident in the area of the village Kamskie Polyany in Nizhnekamsk district.
Inspectors and specialists of the Zakamsky TA laboratory promptly went to the place. It turned out that the driver of the KAMAZ Scania was carrying gasoline tanks with a capacity of 30 cubic meters, at some point the car flew off the road to the curb and overturned. As a result of the accident, the driver was not injured, but there was a gasoline spill. Environmentalists selected polluted snow to determine the hazard class. A warning will be issued to the party at fault. If oil products hit the ground, experts will calculate the damage caused to the soils.
The area of the contaminated site was 80 sq.m. At the time of the survey of the territory, work was underway to transfer fuel to another container.
