The All-Russian Ecological dictation started today in the main building of Kazan Federal University. Natalia Sokolova, co-chair of the Federal Organizing Committee of the Ecodictant, Alexander Terentyev, member of the Federation Council Committee on Regulations and Organization of Parliamentary Activities, Deputy Minister of Ecology Egor Tarnavsky, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Tahir Khadeev and more than 150 Tatarstan citizens took part in it.
"The eco-dictation has already been held 4 times. And if 85 thousand schoolchildren from 45 subjects of Russia took part in 2019, then last year the dictation already covered 85 regions of Russia, 105 foreign countries, and the number of participants exceeded 3.4 million. We want you to bring your knowledge to your families, friends, neighbors. It's nice to see how people share their environmental habits, because only by uniting we can protect nature together," Natalia Sokolova said.
"We are very pleased that Kazan has become the central platform for the opening of the environmental dictation. After all, for two years the Republic of Tatarstan has been the leader in the number of winners of the first degree. I urge all concerned citizens to take part in the dictation. We strive to ensure that environmental education in the republic is always at a high level," said Deputy Minister of Ecology Egor Tarnavsky.
Residents of all subjects of the Russian Federation can test their knowledge on the ecodictation portal in an online format, as well as on offline sites. There are more than 500 such sites organized in the Republic of Tatarstan. The eco-dictation takes place in the format of testing, which includes 25 questions. 45 minutes are allotted for completing tasks.
Also today, employees of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan have passed a knowledge test. It should be noted that offline platforms are created on the basis of various institutions of culture, education, science of the republic, public organizations.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management, ANO "Equality", the NGO "Angel-Detstvohranitel" and the Federal Children's Ecological and Biological Center.
