The Priiksky territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a complaint from residents of the village of Absalyamovo in the Yutazinsky district. Locals complained of an unpleasant chemical smell, presumably from the asphalt plant.
To assess the state of the air, inspectors of the Priiksky TA together with a mobile environmental laboratory went to the site.
Atmospheric air samples were taken automatically on the territory adjacent to the plant using special equipment installed on the PEL. The samples were analyzed according to 8 indicators: phenol, formaldehyde, nitrogen oxide and dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.
According to the results of the analysis of samples, no exceedances of the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants were detected.
