Today, a squad of young naturalists has emerged in the Tatar-Russian secondary School No. 80 in Kazan. Students of the 2nd and 7th grades of the school joined the ranks of the young naturalists. As the guys themselves say, they have been interested in the movement of young naturalists for a long time and since 2016, special attention has been paid to environmental issues in the educational institution. "We have been engaged in environmental education since 2016, we started telling kids about garbage sorting. Then they expanded their activities and began to participate in various contests, clean-ups, and promotions. We have started a card file of plants that can be found on the territory of our school, we tell children about them," the head of the young naturalist detachments shared the story.
The young naturalists were congratulated today by their senior mentors – the guys from the Youth Club of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan. Also, with the support of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society, a geography circle was opened at the school today, whose members will be the most active and successful students of the school.
