Environmentalists have identified a huge landfill in the Zelenodolsk district
During the environmental monitoring of the Zelenodolsk district, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan discovered unauthorized waste storage on Zagorodnaya Street in Zelenodolsk.
To determine the owner of the land plot, environmentalists sent a request to the Office of the Federal Register of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the agency, the owner of the site where the landfill was identified is JSC "PO "Sergo Plant".
Since the enterprise is subject to federal environmental supervision, all materials have been sent to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan for further administrative response measures.
