Marathon "Good deed drop by drop" gathers friends
Tomorrow, August 12, at 9:30 in the Admiralteyskaya Sloboda area, an action will be held to clean up the Volga coast within the framework of the "Waters of Russia" federal project "Conservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology".
The All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" has been uniting the whole country for several years. Within its framework, environmental clean-ups are held from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. Over the eight years of the Campaign's existence, 7.5 million volunteers have collected hundreds of tons of garbage and brought order to the shores of thousands of rivers and lakes.
Every year, within the framework of the Campaign, a friendly competition takes place between the regions of the country. The activity rating takes into account the length of the cleared shores and the ratio of the number of volunteers to the total population of the region.
In 2021, following the results of the campaign "Water of Russia", the Republic of Tatarstan, thanks to the support of all our residents, took 1st place among all regions of the country. More than 276 thousand people took part in the event.

Also on August 12, three more regions that took first places in the rating of subjects last year will join the marathon "Good deed drop by drop" - these are Karachay-Cherkessia, Ingushetia and North Ossetia-Alania. This event within the framework of the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" is organized jointly with the Finish brand and the Clean Seas Eco-Fund.
