Prospects for the development of ecotourism in the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed in the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan today
The meeting, which was held via videoconference, was attended by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Merzakreev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov, First Deputy Minister of Ecology Airat Shigapov, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism Sergey Ivanov, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashev and heads of district executive committees.
The main topic of discussion was the development of ecotourism and increasing the tourist attractiveness of Tatarstan. Representatives of the Directorate for the Development of natural territories and ecotourism of the Foundation "Institute of Urban Development of the Republic of Tatarstan" together with the bureau "Architectural Landing" told about the opportunities and prospects of natural tourism in the republic. The development of this type of recreation, according to the speakers, not only contributes to the rational use of nature, but also plays an important role in preserving the natural resources of Tatarstan, developing the principles of respect for nature among guests and residents of the Republic.
Alexander Shadrikov focused the attention of all participants, emphasizing that ecotourism is already a brand of our republic and it needs to be developed further.
