The live stage of the Republican contest of environmental socially significant projects among youth environmental associations was held on the basis of the Volga YC within the framework of the "ECO-wave 2022" forum. Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov took part in the plenary session of the forum. In his welcoming speech , he noted: "I am proud that we have the most active youth in Tatarstan. Yesterday I spoke at the international environmental forum in Moscow and talked about you, about those people who help change the world for the better. It is your merit that last year we took the first place in the "Water of Russia" campaign among 85 subjects of the Russian Federation. You care about the fate of our rivers and our ecology. This year you helped us again. Among 15 subjects, we took the first place in the eco-campaign dedicated to the Volga Day. These are our common victories and words of sincere gratitude to you for this."
The head of the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society Azat Ziganshin and Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Alla Kondratieva also became guests of honor. Azat Ziganshin, speaking to the guys, noted that the All–Russian Public Organization for the Protection and Protection of Natural Resources "Russian Ecological Society" (REO) is interested in active youth, because one of the main goals of the organization is environmental education. Addressing the forum participants, he stressed: "You are our colleagues. It is colleagues, because we are doing a very important thing together. Today I am pleased to hear that the number of eco-activists is growing every year. Of course, this is an important indicator for our entire Republic. And the foundation of our joint work in the field of ecology is being laid at this forum."
Let us recall that the organizers of the Forum and the Competition are the Regional Youth Public Organization "Will be clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. This year, the Tatarstan branch of REO allocates grants for the implementation of projects of the winners of the competition.
The competition was held in the following areas: environmental protection, animal protection and environmental education. The participants spoke to experts and presented their projects aimed at protecting the environment and improving environmental literacy of young people. Out of 10 finalists, 7 environmental associations received support.
According to the results of the live performances, the places were distributed as follows:
The winners in the category "General education institutions/ institutions of additional education" were the projects:
1. "For the Clean future" - The Center of children's creativity of the city of Aznakaevo;
2. "Separate waste collection due to the rental of tourist equipment" - Rudnitskaya secondary school of the village of Tenishevo, Kamsko-Ustinsky district;
3. "Eco-habits: a four-legged friend" - Extracurricular work Center, Betkin secondary school of the Tukayevsky district of the RT.
The following projects won in the category "Educational institutions of secondary vocational education":
1. "We are for ecology: think, explore and act!" - Raifa Special Educational Educational Institution;
2. The project "Life in ECO style" - Zainsky Polytechnic College.
In the category "Educational institutions of higher professional education" the winners were:
1. "Greenlight Youth Environmental Group in support of the socio-ecological strategy of the state" - Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering;
2. The project "ABOUT ECO" - PEI VO "Kazan Innovative University named after V.G.Timiryasov. Chistopol branch".
The winners received diplomas and cash certificates for the implementation of their projects, as well as memorable prizes from the Regional Youth Public Organization "It will be Clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan.
