Today, a memorial complex in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union tank soldier Semyon Konovalov and all participants of the Great Patriotic War - natives of this settlement opened in Yambulatovsky rural settlement. 220 names are carved on granite slabs and the list will be replenished, because the fate of many is still unknown. In the 80s, a monument to those who died during the war was erected in Yambulatovo, but over the years it has become dilapidated and needed reconstruction. Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took patronage over the memorial site on the initiative of Alexander Shadrykov. "My sons and I watched the movie "Indestructible" and decided to learn in detail the story of our Hero-countryman Semyon Konovalov. They found out that he was born in Yambulatovo. I came to his small homeland, talked to the old-timers, the head of the rural settlement, and then at our weekly meeting in the department, I offered the staff to take patronage of the monument. They all supported it unanimously. And literally in a short time, thanks, among other things, to the participation of benefactors, the head of the rural settlement and all concerned residents, we completely renovated the memorial and installed a bust of Semyon Vasilyevich," Alexander Shadrikov shared the history of the creation of the new complex today at the opening of the memorial park. He stressed that it is important to convey to the younger generation the history of heroism and heroism of all participants in the war. "We must know every hero, every soldier of the Soviet Army, who reached Victory and who remained lying on the battlefields. I bow low to all veterans, home front workers who forged Victory at the front and who brought this day closer by working in the rear," the minister emphasized.

Among the guests of honor are Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov and daughter of Hero of the Soviet Union Semyon Konovalov Irina Brodskaya. Opening the bust to the Hero, Irina Semenovna thanked everyone who helped perpetuate the memory of her father: "The opening of the memorial is of special importance. This is not just a tribute to memory, but also a lesson of courage and glory for the younger generation. It is our duty and the duty of future generations to preserve forever the memory of the past war, of the irreparable losses and suffering that it brought. From now on, my father Semyon Vasilyevich Konovalov will always look us in the eye from his pedestal and will receive warm looks in return from grateful descendants." As the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov noted, the immortal feat of Semyon Konovalov and all participants of the Great Patriotic War is inscribed in the heroic history of our country, and the new memorial complex will become another significant place of memory and a place of worship for Tatarstan citizens.
