A huge snow dump was discovered by environmentalists in Kazan
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from citizens about unauthorized storage of snow on Yuzhno-Promyshlennaya Street of the Privolzhsky district. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration together with employees of the Central Department of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry carried out a visit to the specified address. During the survey of the territory, the fact of environmental violations was confirmed. The total area of the illegal dump is 1100 sq. m., the volume is 723 cubic meters. m. Snow samples were taken by specialists. According to the results of biotesting, the 5th hazard class was determined. In the analyses, there are exceedances of the MAC for chloride, sulfate and petroleum products.
In relation to the Administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan, a protocol was drawn up under Part 1 of Article 8.2. Of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. This article provides for a fine in the amount of 100 thousand to 250 thousand rubles.
