Students of the Arsky district were told about how to support birds in winter
Employees of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry spoke with students of educational institutions of the Arsky district about the role of birds in the surrounding world and the peculiarities of their feeding in winter. Experts told which species of birds live in the republic, which of them are migratory, and which remain to winter on the territory of their native land. After the theoretical part, together with the guys, the staff visited the "bird canteens" to feed the birds. "These events are not only a good method of forming a responsible and careful attitude to the environment, but also teach children to work in a team," the employees of the Northern TA noted. Thus, students take care of their younger brothers, increase the level of environmental knowledge and develop creative abilities. "The opportunity to care for, observe birds, and feel the significance of the work done is a very important condition for the formation of a humane attitude to nature in children," the educators of educational institutions emphasized.
