The model of digital transformation of the industry, developed by the IT company Innostage, was presented today at the final board of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin. In particular, as part of the creation of the Situation Center, the developers conducted a pilot project to develop technologies for collecting environmental data and built a number of information and analytical models in the field of ecology. For example, the air condition analysis model allows  to quickly process information about the air condition based on data received from the Ministry of Ecology's ASKZA system and information about registered sources of pollution at enterprises. The data of the analytical model allows quickly tracking the sources of pollution and responding to them.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a presentation of a new project was also held – the creation of a carbon landfill. In accordance with the instruction of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, R. N. Minnikhanov, a working group on climate policy and decarbonization plans of the Republic of Tatarstan was established last year, which included representatives of executive authorities, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, universities, as well as the largest enterprises and organizations of the republic.

In order to more accurately determine the sequestration potential of the natural ecosystems of the republic, it was decided to create a carbon testing area on the territory of the republic on the site of the Kazan Federal University.

"The most important tasks for 2022 should be recognized as the implementation of measures for the commissioning and successful operation of the carbon testing area," said the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
