Illegal snow dump was revealed by environmentalists in the Privolzhsky district
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from citizens about the illegal storage of snow near Uchitelskaya st. in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration, together with specialists of the Central Department for Environmental Supervision and a representative of the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts, carried out a visit to the specified address. During the survey of the territory, the violation of environmental legislation was confirmed. The total area of snow storage was 847 sq.m., volume - 568 cubic meters.m. Experts have taken samples of contaminated snow to determine the hazard class.
Measures will be taken based on the results of laboratory tests. In case of detection of excess pollutants, a notice will be sent to the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts about the need to appear at the Ministry to compile administrative material.
