A resident of Arsk was punished for unauthorized discharge of untreated sewage
The spill of car wash effluents, as well as an unauthorized dump of municipal waste, was revealed by ecologists of the Northern TA of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan on Sibirsky Trakt Street during a raid around the city. Soil samples were taken by specialists to calculate the damage caused to the environment. The area of the contaminated site was 170 sq.m.
For non-compliance with the requirements in the field of environmental protection when handling production and consumption waste, an individual is brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of art.8.2 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. A protocol has been drawn up against the guilty person under part 2 of art.8.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Destruction of the fertile soil layer, as well as damage to land as a result of violation of the rules for handling pesticides and agrochemicals or other substances dangerous to human health and the environment and waste of production and consumption". A submission was issued to eliminate the causes and conditions that contributed to the commission of the offense. In addition, in connection with the misuse of the land, the materials were sent to the executive committee and the prosecutor's office of the Arsky district for the adoption of administrative penalties.
