Exchange of experience in the implementation of environmental measures in the field of protection of atmospheric air and water bodies. For this purpose, a visiting meeting of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Bavly today. The deputy minister of ecology of Tatarstan, Tatarstan's Chief State Inspector in the field of environmental protection Fayaz Shakirov, the heads of the territorial directorates, the head of the Executive Committee of the Bavly district Ilyas Gusairov, the deputy head of the Bavly district Rinat Khamidullin took part in the event. Fayyaz Shakirov noted that the venue of the meeting was chosen not by chance. It was this district that showed the best practices in the field of ecology.

Today, as part of a working trip to Bavly, specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan visited biological treatment facilities. Here, from October 2015 to September 2017, repairs were carried out to improve the quality of wastewater treatment. At the BTF, the silt beds and sand areas have been reconstructed, meters for incoming sewage and decontamination stations have been installed, and major repairs of the lattice and laboratory building have been performed.

Today, specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan got acquainted with the operation of the industrial installation at the Bavly desulfurization section of the PJSC Tatneft department Tatneftegazopererabotka. The complex automated line was launched here in 2011. The process of direct catalytic oxidation of hydrogen sulphide, used in the operation of the device, allows separation of sulphur and does not require additional treatment of waste gases.

Tatarstan ecologists suspended the permission for the release of harmful (polluting) substances into the atmospheric air from the Kazan enterprise Polypack. The reason for the termination was the violation of the rules for the protection of atmospheric air, namely the emission of pollutants exceeding the established maximum permissible concentrations. A quantitative chemical analysis of air was carried out by the specialists of the CSIAC and the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

More than 1500 batteries were collected by pupils of kindergartens No.1 “Swallow” and No. 20 “Fir-tree” in Zelenodolsk. The teachers of pre-school institutions handed over the used batteries to the reception point of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. As the teachers note, the desire to help the environment arose in the pupils after a lesson on nature protection. Learning that one thrown small battery can pollute about 20 square meters of soil or 400 liters of water, preschoolers decided to contribute to reducing harmful effects. And with their relatives, they collected all the used batteries for their safe disposal.
