Compliance with norms of the All-Russian Complex of Sports and Physical Training “Ready for Work and Defense” (RWD) will be checked at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in January 2015.

On October 1, 2014 the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov held a working meeting with Executive Directorof the Non-governmental Ecological Fund named after V.I. Vernadsky Olga Plyamina in the framework of the Days of ecological enlightenment in the Republic of Tatarstan arrangedunder the auspices of “Gazprom” OJSC.

As of September 1, 2014 the contest“School eco-patrol” started in the Republic, and more than 600 applications have been received during the first month. The greatest activity was shown by pupils of Kazan, as well as Zainsk, Chistopol and Vysokaya Gora districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Veterans of Labor who devoted many years to working at the Ministry were honored today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan addressed the audience with a welcome word and congratulations. He acknowledged that the day was a wonderful holiday giving another opportunity to express great respect and sincere gratitude to people who had made a lot of efforts so that the work aimed at provision of ecological safety of the Republic and careful attitude to natural resources at the Ministry was always up to the mark.

The VIII International Ecological Forum “Nature without borders” will be held on October 23 – 24th, 2014 in Vladivostok.
Year after year the forum unites under its aegis famous scientific personae, representatives of public organizations from various countries. A meeting of the Anti-corruption Commission was held today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. All in all, 6 issues were on the agenda.
1. Review of“Anti-corruption monitoring for the 1st half-year of 2014”, elaborated by the Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for social and economic monitoring

A quarterly magazine “Anti-corruption reporter” has been published since 2014 at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is an e-magazineposted on the website of the Ministry in the section “Anti-corruption measures”. The magazine covers reviews of anti-corruption workin the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as articles of journalists in the field of anti-corruption measures and amendments to the legislation.

The 2nd Russian industrial and ecological forum “RosPromEco-2014” will be held in Moscow on December 16 – 17, 2014. Russian and world experts, representatives of the federal legislative and executive authorities, official delegations from 50 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, representatives of specialized services of industrial enterprises and companiesspecialized in the field of equipment manufacturing and rendering of ecological services and technologies, as well as companies who are consumers of the corresponding services and equipment will participate in the Forum.

The International research-to-practice conference “Legal science and education in the XXI century” will be held at Kazan (Volga) Federal Universityand it coincided with the210th anniversary of Kazan University.One of the sections was devoted to the creative heritage of the professor of Kazan and Moscow UniversitiesVladislav Petrov and modern science of the ecological law. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov made a report on the“Aspects of ecological policy of the Republic of Tatarstan”. He reminded that in 2007 the Concept of ecological safety of the Republic of Tatarstan was adopted and it is being now implemented.General efforts are concentrated on enhancement

A coordination meeting of heads of law-enforcement agencies was held on September 24that the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tatarstanwith regard to the issues of enhancement of interaction of law-enforcement agencies against offences and crimes in the field of nature use. The meeting was held by the Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Nafikovwith participation of the Volga Interregional Nature Protection Prosecutor Veniamin Selifanov. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov also participated in the work of the meeting.
