On October 1, 2014 the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov held a working meeting with Executive Directorof the Non-governmental Ecological Fund named after V.I. Vernadsky Olga Plyamina in the framework of the Days of ecological enlightenment in the Republic of Tatarstan arrangedunder the auspices of “Gazprom” OJSC.
Olga Plyamina was familiarized with the activity of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in detail, as well as with the results of work of the whole nature protection complex in the field of assurance of ecological safety of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The issues regarding further cooperation of the Ministry with the Fund named after V.I. Vernadskyrelated, primarily, to the joining of efforts regarding ecological education and enlightenment of the young generation of the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed during the meeting.
Following the results of the meeting, a draft plan of joint actions in2015, including a series of youth creative contests, ecological campaigns, as well as unified ecologically-oriented lessons at educational establishments of the Republic, was elaborated.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
