The event is organized by the Federal Agency of Water Resources under the Year of Ecology in Russia. The contest is open to photographers-residents of the Russian Federation above 16 y.o. “Capture the beauty of native land!” Tatarstan amateur photographers are invited to participate in the III Contest of the Russian Geographical Society “The most beautiful country”. The contest aims to draw attention to the conservation of natural and cultural heritage of Russia, as well as the development of respect for the environment through the art of photography. Everyone can participate regardless of age and place of residence.

3 thousand tons of garbage were removed today from the territory of the city of Kazan. Particular attention was given to hard-to-reach places – ravines and forests. Where the technique could not pass, garbage was collected by people. KAMAZ trucks, loaders, excavators – organizations and enterprises of Tatarstan provided about a hundred units of special equipment. They were given special coupons, according to which the landfills Samosyrovo and Vozrozhdenie received waste for free. More than 30 places of unauthorized waste disposal have been eliminated.
