Sergey Donskoy to hold a meeting of Federal Ecological Council in Kazan

On June 9-10, 2017 in Kazan, the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, Sergei Donskoy, will hold the seventh visiting session of the Federal Ecological Council. Discussion of the implementation of major activities for the Year of Ecology in Russia is planned. According to the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, the chairman of the Federal Environmental Council Sergei Donskoy, field meetings are held on a regular basis between environmental congresses so that the regions can participate in the discussion of the agenda. The work of the Council is aimed at improving the quality of interaction between federal and regional legislative and executive authorities in the environmental field.

The meeting will be attended by representatives of the Federation Council of Russia, environmental ministries and departments of 85 regions of the country, as well as public environmental organizations.
