City Children's Ecological and Biological Center announces the city stage of the All-Russian competition of young environmental researchers. Young people aged 12 to 18 are invited to participate.

What is good for nature, and what is bad for it? Answers to the questions were sought by children of "Berezka" kindergarten of the Tukaevskiy district. The lesson for them was conducted by specialists of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The cooperation agreement was signed today between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kazan State Agrarian University. Ceremonial event was attended by the Rector of the Kazan State Agrarian University Ayrat Valiev and the Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov. "We face the challenge of educating a generation of future ecologists. Those who shape our tomorrow. I hope our joint work will be fruitful and successful", the Head of Nature Protection Department said.

More than 4,600 infringements of nature protection legislation are revealed. Administrative fines were collected for a total of more than 160 million rubles. Today, an interdepartmental meeting was held in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tatarstan on interaction of law enforcement and supervisory bodies in countering violations of law on specially protected natural territories, conservation and use of wildlife and their habitats.

The exhibition center "Kazanskaya Yarmarka" hosted the opening of the IX Specialized Exhibition and Congress "Clean Water. Kazan." The participants of the event were greeted by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavskiy. "I want to note that the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the water rich regions of Russia. To date, our task as modern residents is to preserve the quality of water", he said. - I think that "Clean Water. Kazan" will be a unique platform for exchange of experience".

The unauthorized landfill in the territory of the garage cooperative was revealed due to the Chelny schoolchildren - users of GIS "School eco-patrol". Specialists of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, having arrived at the place, found household and construction debris, tires of vehicles and glass.

34,636 participants and 691 tons of collected waste. These are the results of last weekend's World Clean-up Day. Residents of all regions of the republic joined the events in the framework of the environmental campaigns "General cleaning of the country", "Green Russia" and "Let's do it!"

Day of water quality monitoring is celebrated today around the world. The ecological holiday, established on the initiative of the American Clean Water Foundation, aims to raise public awareness about the problems of the world's water resources and to participate in contamination prevention.

The large dump in the Boriskinsky rural settlement of the Alkeevskiy district became known to environmentalists thanks to the indifferent local residents: they reported it on the "People's control" system. Having arrived on the site, inspectors of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan have found out an illegal dump with the area of ​​85 sq.m in 300-400 m to the West from Sadikovo village.

From September 19 to 21, 2018, the IX International Specialized Exhibition and Congress "Clean Water. Kazan" will be held in exhibition center “Kazan fair”. The congress and exhibition event is held by the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Federal Agency for Water Resources.
