Last autumn, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration revealed a violation of environmental legislation in the Almetyevsk town. When dismantling the de-emulsifier base with an area of ​​3,542 sq. m, 15 chemical tanks were found. The amount of damage caused to land resources as a result of violation of the rules for handling hazardous wastes amounted to 27,627,600 rubles. Damage to nature as a result of littering with production and consumption waste - 156,000 rubles. A criminal case on this fact is initiated.
