Non-Governmental Environmental Fund named after V.I. Vernadsky, with support of state, educational, non-governmental and scientific organizations, holds the Sixth All-Russian Conference on Environmental Education “From Environmental Education to Ecology of Future” on October 29-31, 2019. The largest site in Russia demonstrates global trends, scientific achievements, relevant concepts and effective practices of environmental education at all its levels.
From the beginning of the year, 9,130 appeals were received by the Republican Public Reception Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. “The wastewater pumped from the septic tank is dumped into the soil!” Such a message was received from vigilant residents of Naberezhnye Chelny to specialists of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The intruder was identified through video and photography of witnesses. In relation to the violator of environmental legislation, a protocol has been drawn up under Part 2 of Art. 8.6 of Administrative Code, he faces an administrative fine.
The Federal Agency for Water Resources held a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulation of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade. The Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Timur Gilyazov, participated from the Republic of Tatarstan.
The current water level in the Kuibyshev reservoir is 52.64 m (BS). According to forecast data, by September 20, the reservoir level will slightly increase to 52.80 m (BS), and then decrease. By the date of the next meeting, the watermark will be 52.50 m (BS).
An appeal on restriction of free access to the Karakul Lake of Nizhnekamskiy district was received from local residents to the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Having left for the site, ecologists discovered that the metal fence was installed close to the water edge.
To date, the citizen has complied with the environmentalists' order: free access to the lake has been restored.
