The Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was headed by Anatoly Petrovich Shlychkov, senior researcher at the Laboratory of Applied Ecology at the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. His candidacy was unanimously supported by all members of the Council.

315 residents living in the immediate vicinity of the Oshma river will be removed from the flood zone. It is supposed to carry out work on clearing the river and deepening the bottom. “The events are designed for several years. The total length of the site will be more than 6 km. This year we plan to finance about 3.5 million rubles. As part of this amount, the channel will be prepared for subsequent clearance. The work has already begun”, said Egor Tarnavsky, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Damage to the hydraulic complex, bearing the danger of local residents, as well as the estimated damage of more than 84 million rubles, it was decided to repair. The reconstruction project is designed for 2019-2020 and is being implemented within the framework of the federal target program “Development of the Russian water management complex in 2012-2020”, the facility was financed and the state contract was secured by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

State supervision of compliance with the established standards for emissions in the exhaust gases of vehicles is carried out by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. “Clean Air” operation was launched on the roads of Tatarstan on June 15.

“Clean Games” will be held again in Avtograd. Two large-scale environmental quests with prizes and gifts will be held on September 14 and 21. Students of secondary and higher educational institutions who wish to participate in the competition must register at https://cleangames.ru/events/NCh3 till September 12, 2019. No more than 5 people - 4 students and 1 teacher may participate in each team. Children under 14 years old participate only with an adult, participants under 18 years old must have written permission from their parents.

Waste from demolition and dismantling of buildings - on the soil. The cluttered site in the northern part of Buinsk town was discovered by inspectors of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Based on complaints from Nizhnekamsk residents regarding the smell present in the air, inspectors from Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with laboratory specialists took samples at 12 points in the city.
