Having opened a renewed galvanic production a year and a half ago, the Kazan Helicopter Plant not only increased its productivity, but also significantly increased the environmental friendliness of the entire enterprise. New technology has reduced the volume of discharges into urban sewers by 91%. According to the Environmental Policy of Helicopters of Russia Holding, adopted in October 2016, the continuous reduction of the negative impact of production factors on the environment is one of the main environmental goals of the enterprise. Therefore, the modernization of galvanic production included construction of a new building, replacement of worn-out equipment, and introduction of new wastewater treatment technology.

The V International Environmental Forum “Environmental Education” will be held in Kaluga from September 16 to 22, 2019. The purpose of the event is implementation of the national project “Ecology” and formation of a single policy in the field of environmental protection, rational nature management and environmental education.

Today, a gathering of citizens took place in Burmetyevsky rural settlement of Nurlatskiy district. It was attended by the Head of Nurlatskiy district Almaz Akhmetshin, the curator of the region, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, and the heads of the district’s responsible services.

Aleksandr Shadrikov spoke about the main directions of republican programs and national projects. At the meeting, the Burmetyevo residents were also able to get answers to questions of interest.

Kazanorgsintez PJSC is among the winners of the III All-Russian contest for the best organization of work in the field of reducing greenhouse gas emissions “Climate and Responsibility - 2019”.

The company took 3rd place in the nomination “The best organization of the Russian Federation in the field of reducing greenhouse gas emissions among organizations that emit less than 150 thousand tons of CO2-equivalent per year”.

Since the beginning of this year, 44 horticultural non-profit partnerships have applied to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with a request for a license to extract underground water.

Currently, 23 out of 44 SNTs got licenses, on 3 applications - a positive decision was made to provide the right to use subsoil for the purpose of underground water extraction and draft license agreements were prepared, which are signed by SNT. The remaining 18 appeals are under consideration.

The report on earthworks in the coastal strip of two reservoirs near the Shilna River of the Tukayevskiy district was received by state inspectors from the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan from caring citizens. As a result of an administrative investigation, a protocol was drawn up for the company official in accordance with Part 1 of Article 8.42 of the Administrative Code, an order to eliminate violations was issued. Also, the offender will have to pay a fine.

Leading scientists and practitioners in the field of environmental protection of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian regions gathered today in the Kazan conference hall of the Kazan Fair. The XIV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Industrial Ecology and Safety” was held here, for the fifth anniversary it was dedicated to the memory of the first Minister of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan Anatoly Ivanovich Shchepovskikh.

Conference participants discussed the issues of using emission control systems and the use of industrial catalysts, implementation of environmental programs at enterprises and other issues in the field of environmental protection. The authors of the best reports were awarded with commemorative medals by A.I. Shchepovskikh.
