More than 232 thousand people took part in the Saturday clean-up campaign which took place in municipal areas of the republic on April 27. More than 1.5 thousand units of equipment were used in the work process, more than 123 thousand cubic meters of waste were taken out to SDW landfills, more than 19 thousand trees and bushes were planted. These data were sounded by Artem Sidorov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, at the weekly meeting in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. Ildar Halikov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, also took part in the meeting.

How did Saturday campaigns go, and what are the first results of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign? What districts are in the black book now? Inspectors of the territorial departments under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan evaluated sanitary and ecological state both from the air and from the ground. The railway tour and a flying trip on the helicopter are covered by the TV program “Environmental Patrol” on the channel of the State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company of Tatarstan.

Today, the Ministry’s software products were presented in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. In particular, Geographical Information System “Environmental map of the Republic of Tatarstan”, State Information System “People’s control”. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov welcomed the guests.
Environmental problems solution is one of the priorities in the activity of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, told about it at the extended session devoted to the issues of organization of an integrated waste management system in the Republic of Tatarstan.
 
The meeting with all municipal areas of the republic took place in the form of a video conference in the Government House of Tatarstan. It was carried out by Vladimir Kirillov, the Head of the Federal Service for the Supervision of Natural Resources. Artem Sidorov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, also took part in the work of the meeting.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikanov met today with the Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Nature Resources Vladimir Kirillov.
The meeting was held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. As a reminder, Vladimir Kirillov arrived in Kazan to hold an extended meeting devoted to the matters of arrangement of a single complex waste management system in the Republic of Tatarstan.
At the beginning of June the III Volga region Ecology Week will take place in the Ulyanovsk region. Within the framework of the week the business forum and the interregional exhibition “Eco-Business in the Volga Federal District” will take place. The forum also includes a plenary meeting and round tables. The delegation of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan is going to take part in the forum. Within the framework of the interregional exhibition “Eco-Business in the Volga Federal District” the advanced experience of enterprises and organizations in the sphere of rational environmental management and innovative solutions will be presented.

Today, in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign the territories of Kazan were flown over. Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ramil Nizamov and Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilkham Sabirov inspected the city and the adjacent territory in order to reveal the sites of unauthorized placement of waste, as well as other violations of the principles of beautification.

A meeting with representatives of the “ECOLab” company was held today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for Investment and Innovation Activities Ravil Kuzyurov.
Vatslav Kharant, the Director General of “ECOLab” JSC and “NALKO” JSC. Ramola Musante, the Vice-President for communications with governmental bodies of the “ECOLab” Company, and Alexey Latyshev, the Business manager on water processing of  “NALKO” JSC, were among the guests. Participants of the meeting discussed possibilities of the “ECOLab” Company expansion on the improvement of ecological indexes of industrial facilities in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
An environmental and educational event “Spring has come” was held at Kazan social and rehabilitation center for pre-school disabled children “Zdravushka” in the framework of the implementation of the “Environmental rehabilitation” project. The “Environmental rehabilitation” project has been implemented by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2005 and it is aimed at creation of the newforms of environmental areas on the territories of Rehabilitation Centers, which will promote development of the environment-oriented culture in disabled children, trainees of preschool and secondary educational establishments, and citizens of the community. Trainees of the Center prepared a festive concert program, where they managed to show their talents as well as their love of nature.
An environmental conference“Earth is a teardrop on the cheek of the Universe” was held on April 24 at the Central Library of Chistopol Municipal District. The event was intended for the pupils of 3rd forms of the Secondary School No. 1 and an environmental crew “Cadet Eco-patrol” was held by the fellow workers of Volga-Kama Territorial Departmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
